Returned to work on Tuesday after what amounted to a 6 day weekend. Holy sweetness. Saw a lot of baby Rose and my extended family. Spent nearly no time on the internets. Also holy sweetness. Began moving into the Galactica apartment. Began to stress about how I would get belongings (including my beloved bed, which celebrated its one year anniversary in April) up a freaking spiral staircase. This stress remains unresolved. This is likely the easiest move in the history of my life and I am stressed about it, despite the massage I got yesterday. Got my car fixed, in a partial fashion. Driving a new rental car makes me realize that what I really need is a new, safer car. But will hold off on this for a bit longer. Cooked a lot of delicious food. Planted some container plants on my new deck including peonies, snapdragons, tomatoes, basil, and lupine. I am in love with my new deck. It sports some 70s era furniture my little bandit Lola grooves on napping on. Went to Jacob’s party which did not involve as much dancing as I might like. Got a spider bite on my leg or some such thing which, according to the doctor, is going to take ten days of antibiotics to clear. Cruddy. Thought about taking a second job. Got bummed that I did not get interviewed for a part-time reference job. Moved some clothes into my WALK IN CLOSET. Questioned Conini’s dad’s judgement on who will be moving into our old joint. Thanked the universe for bringing forth spring and summer. There are many good things about my life at present. There are many good things about the glory of the green world around us. Need to get the rest of my junk moved, and to get back on the bicycle, possibly with my dog in a rear basket or sidecar.
