It was not as splendid as we imagined when we got three dogs together for a celebration at the homestead. We have a new girl dog named for now either girl or lola. all is rather up in the air and sleep deprived around here. There are a few pictures here. I think the problem was the high level of prissiness on the part of the other dogs present. We do hope she learns to be a fine girl dog, and can stand her haughty cousins. I guess the younger of the two is reliably unformed and so possibly able to be un-haughty, given a proper upbringing. Our girl is sweet and little and oh so interested in waking me at 3:30 AM and 6:30 AM to free her bladder of fluids. Heavens me, I feel for mothers of the world, in a tiny way.
