I think my favorite day in England was Kew Gardens. Maybe because there were such lazy trees there, and I was so sleepy, and the greenhouses were fantastical. I also enjoyed being at a party with genuine Italians, who lived up to all the stereotypes: booty in the bathroom, flirting with each other like the world was ending, et cetera.

The bikes are back in action and life is turning lovely as a result. On Sunday I went to Rhode Island for the day and enjoyed ocean breezes and kettle pond swimming, with a little wiffle ball thrown in for good measure. I ate sunflower seeds and looked at round ocean rocks. I hiked through beach roses and ate their petals, then avoided roots of trees painted to look like snakes. On Monday, we went to this delicious outdoor BBQ that has bring your own beer, and sat in the sun living up June. June! Here you are already! I am beginning to feel like time moves too quickly. I enjoyed a bike ride later that evening. I must say that life with bicycles is a superior life. Last night we biked to a sushi supper and avoided thunderstorms on the road back.

I have been so quiet around here, and I'm not sure why. Maybe I am sad at the impending slow unravelling of NHWC, maybe I am too busy otherwise. I'll try to be better. I promise.
