This rain won't quit. I have done very little today as a result, except for a brief frenzy of vodka box moving, because the restaurant fears that the river will jump its banks, given all the rainy rain rain. Lots of Absolut would be flooded, along with crackers and beer and three bicycles. The rain has stopped but it is still all wild river outside, and Jon's dad has sandbagged the whole place, with children's toy sand, which I hope he will save because all I can imagine is it cost a fortune. I must interview one librarian and take three more tests and then my obligations for the 501 class I am taking are complete. The teacher was excellent and very personable. Her husband came the last day to speak to us and he also made me feel that librarianship is fine. So I will press on, part time, doing 6 more credits in the fall. Wait, I must return to my apartment to check the banana bread which is baking away in there. Until less rainy times,
